How do I mount the Hang10™?
You have a choice of 2 convenient and EASY mounting options: both Peel’n Stick Tape Mounting or Screw mounting, are available for the mounting the Hang10™ . Each unit is preloaded with Peel’nStick for your convenience. Specific mounting options are recommended for different mounting surfaces. Follow the directions below for each method.

Tape Mounting with Peel’nStick
Each Hang10™ comes preloaded with high bond Peel’nStick to quickly and securely semipermanently mount to a variety of surfaces. We recommend this mounting method when you wish to attach the Hang10™ for more permanent long term storage. Although it may be possible to remove the Hang10 from plastic, metal, or smooth laminated surfaces at a later time, the Peel’n stick will be destroyed and you would not be able to remount, or reuse the product.
We recommend Peel’n Stick mounting for use on:
-Computer monitors
-CPU tower
-Desk legs
-Stereo Cabinets
-Outside or inside Book shelves or cabinets
-Closets
-Walls (permanent use only, note Peel’n stick may tear drywall when removed)

Step by step instructions for Tape mounting:
1. CLEAN and DRY CONTACT SURFACES
2. POSITION Hang10™ on surface and mark position by drawing a light line at opposite corners of part onto contact surface with pencil. You should be able to carefully erase these later with a soft eraser.
3. PEEL off protective tape liner from the surface of the Peel’n stick
4. CAREFULLY ALIGN Hang10™ into marked position
5. STICK and APPLY PRESSURE to insure secure attachment. Apply significant pressure evenly across the entire part to insure all of tape sticks to contact surface.
6. Now your ready to go ahead and Hang10™!

Screw Mounting
Do not remove Peel’nstick or liner! This Peel’nStick and liner provides an important cushioning surface for proper surface contact during screw mounting.
Each Hang10™ has a hole located at the top and bottom to quickly and securely mount to a variety of surfaces. We recommend this method of mounting, when you want to have the added option to easily remove, and remount, and reuse the Hang10™ especially on Walls.
We recommend Screw mounting for use on:
-Walls
-Wood Desk legs
-Stereo Cabinets
-Outside or inside Book shelves or cabinets
-Closets
CAUTION! DON’T BE AN AIRHEAD! DO NOT SCREW MOUNT DIRECTLY ONTO ELECTRONIC DEVICES! NOT WILL YOU DAMAGE YOUR DEVICE, BUT ELECTROCUTION MAY RESULT IN THE PROCESS!

Step by step instructions for Tape Screw Mounting:
1. POSITION Hang10™ and using a pencil make a light MARK through the 2 holes, at the top and bottom end of the Hang10™, onto contact surface.
2. DRILL 1/16 inch holes at the marks.
3. SCREW 1 inch long 1/8 inch countersunk wood screws through the TOP HOLE of Hang10™. Screw in only enough to hold the screw and unit in place and do not securely tighten until step 5.
4. Apply downward pressure on Hang10™ to insure flush surface contact and SCREW second screw into LOWER HOLE. Screw in only enough to hold the screw and unit in place and do not securely tighten until step 5.
5. Now go back and CAREFULLY tighten screw in both holes only until they . Do not overtighten as screws may slip in surfaces such as drywall. Fasten only until the first sign of slight pressure indicating it has reach its maximum depth into contact surface.
6.Now your ready to go ahead and Hang10™!

Hang10™ Can be mounted to a variety of flat and dry surfaces. To insure the optimum bonding capability when using the Double Sided tape, do not use the product in areas of above or below average room temperatures (like around fireplaces, airvents, in direct sunlight, on windows, , Suggested surfaces include:
-Plastic & laminated surfaces

-Drywall or Wallpaper (note both may be damaged if removal is attempted)

After mounting, can I remove, reuse and remount the Hang10™?
Yes and No. The answer to this question depends on the combination of the mounting method you select, and the type of surface you will be mounting the product to. We have outlined instances for both cases in the answers below. WE RECOMMEND YOU CONSIDER THE OPTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE MOUNTING IN ORDER TO OPTIMIZE YOUR STORAGE SYSTEM EXPERIENCE.
REMOVAL
YES
Both mounting methods allow for removal, but by simply removing the screws, the screw mount provides the easier option for quick removal. (note that once removed the screw mounting procedure will leave holes which on walls can be quickly filled with spackle and paint.) DO NOT INSTALL ON FINE WOODWORK WITH CANNOT BE RESTORED IF Hang10™ IS REMOVED.
On the other hand, removing Pee’ln stick tape mounted products will require carefully peeling of the Hang10™ and tape together off contact surface. In some cases tape residue may still remain and can removed by gently rubbing residue, and or using cleaning solutions such as :”Goo gone”.
NO
We do not recommend removal of Peel’n stick tape mounted Hang10™ from wall surfaces as they may damage the paint, drywall or wallpaper, and thus require repair to those surfaces. If you are not installing Hang10™ as a permanent fixture on walls, we recommend using the Screw mount method instead.
2. REUSE AND REMOUNT

Only screw mounted Hang10™ can be reused after removal.

In the Peel’n stick option the Tape will be destroyed upon removal and you would not be able to remount, or reuse the product.

What is the capacity my Hang10™?
With its expansion capabilities the Hang10™ system capacity is limitless! Each modules has 10 multisize slots which are capable of holding anywhere from 10 CD or Zips to 60 naked CD ROM as follows:
• 10 (or 20 slimline) CD, CD ROM, Playstation or ZIP cartridges in their jewel cases, or GameBoy cartridges.

Can I mix the type of media it holds?
Sure! Hang10™ is all about flexibility and you can load each slot with any media combinations you’d like!

How do I load CD case or media into the Hang10™?
Simply center and slide the appropriate number of media into the selected hang10 slot until a snug pressure is felt. Insert Jewel boxes hinge side first into each slot for more secure fit.

How is the media held in place?
Each hang10 slot positions media at a 45 degree angle using both gravity and slot snugness to maintain position. For this reason it is recommended that media be centered and that you mount each module only in a vertical position.

How does Hang10™ help me find media more quickly?
Each form of media is held at a forward facing angle so for the first time you view both the front and top edge of the jewel case, making finding your favorite CD or Zip much easier!

When can I expect Hang10™ to arrive at myhome?
After completing purchase on our website, the products should arrive within 4-10 days via US mail.

During the purchase process on our website, you will earn 1 free additional Hang10™ for the purchase of every 3. When this occurs you will be promted to select the color for your free units earned, but you will not be charged for those free units!
So for example, let’s say you order 6 units. You will then be prompted to select color for the 2 free units earned. That’s it!
